A Marcha Global pelo Clima é uma mobilização coletiva com o objetivo de protestar contra a forma como governos e empresas lidam com as questões das mudanças climáticas. Tradicionalmente, ela acontece no fim de semana durante a COP, mas por quatro anos foi interrompida, inicialmente pela pandemia de covid-19 e, depois, por ter sido impedida de ocorrer em países com regimes autoritários, como Egito e Emirados Árabes Unidos. Em 2025, com a conferência voltando a um país democrático, os movimentos sociais puderam novamente ocupar as ruas. Sob um sol de mais de 35 graus, mais de 70 mil pessoas de diferentes partes do mundo se reuniram em Belém em uma caminhada de quase cinco quilômetros para exigir a demarcação de Terras Indígenas e Quilombolas, mais investimentos em uma transição energética justa, o fim da dependência dos combustíveis fósseis, financiamento climático, taxação dos super-ricos, fortalecimento da agricultura familiar e a preservação de rios e florestas. A manifestação teve repercussão global e reafirmou o protagonismo da sociedade civil na luta por justiça climática e social.

The Global Climate March is a collective mobilization aimed at protesting the way governments and corporations address climate change issues. Traditionally, it takes place over the weekend during the COP, but for four years it was interrupted, initially due to the covid-19 pandemic and later because it was prevented from happening in countries with authoritarian regimes, such as Egypt and the United Arab Emirates. In 2025, with the conference returning to a democratic country, social movements were once again able to take to the streets. Under a scorching sun of over 35 degrees Celsius, more than 70,000 people from different parts of the world gathered in Belém for a walk of nearly five kilometers to demand the demarcation of Indigenous and Quilombola lands, greater investment in a just energy transition, an end to dependence on fossil fuels, climate finance, taxation of the super-rich, strengthening of family farming, and the preservation of rivers and forests. The demonstration had global repercussions and reaffirmed the central role of civil society in the fight for climate and social justice.
